Understanding Heart Disease
Heart disease (cardiovascular disease) is a group of diseases related to cardiovascular diseases, manifested by a violation of the normal functioning of the heart. It may be caused by damage to the epicardium, pericardium, myocardium, endocardium, valvular apparatus of the heart, heart vessels.
According to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute in Framingham (USA), the most important factors in the development of cardiovascular disease in humans are obesity, sedentary lifestyle and smoking.
About Heart Disease Analysis
Heart Disease Analysis is a data-driven web application designed to explore and understand the key factors contributing to cardiovascular diseases. The platform leverages interactive data visualizations built using Tableau and integrates them into a user-friendly web interface developed with Flask.
The main objective of this project is to provide meaningful insights into how various health and lifestyle factors such as age, gender, smoking habits, diabetes, alcohol consumption, and physical activity influence the likelihood of developing heart disease. By transforming complex datasets into intuitive dashboards and storytelling visualizations, the application enables users to easily interpret patterns and trends.
This project aims to support healthcare awareness, encourage preventive measures, and demonstrate the practical application of data analytics in solving real-world medical challenges. It serves as an example of how modern technologies like data visualization and web deployment can be combined to make health-related insights more accessible, interactive, and impactful for researchers, policymakers, and the general public.
